CIRAN Consortium Meeting in Portugal

In January, the CIRAN Consortium convened in the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal, for its annual meeting. This gathering brought together a team of CIRAN partners and guest experts for a series of enlightening discussions, workshops, and an unforgettable field excursion.

One of the highlights of the trip was the incredible opportunity to visit the Vale de Meios recovering area, located in the municipality and district of Santarém. Nestled within the protected area of Serras de Aire e Candeeiros, this site is renowned for its immense paleontological significance.

The trip was also an occasion to host some experts workshops organized by our partners in the framework of WP3 and WP6. CIRAN members and guest experts actively participated, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise to the table.

The lively conversation provided the partners with valuable insights, which will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of CIRAN research.
